Phoenix Arizona

Today I, along with a co-worker, left for Phoenix from the sunny shores of St. Louis at 9:40 a.m. STL time. Actually, our flight was delayed by 20 minutes for a passenger that got sick prior to leaving and the stewardesses were trying to find his traveling partner.

This caused us to be late to our connecting flight in Dallas Fort Worth. As we were landing our connecting flight was boarding. As soon as we got off we had to bypass lunch and head straight to our next gate. We boarded which was now 12:25 STL time.

Now we are on our way to Phoenix when the pilot switches on the intercom and informs us there is bad whether in Phoenix and planes in our in a holding pattern. He also mentions we do not have enough gas to do this and we need to land in Tucson to get more fuel.

This delays us by 1hr 20 min. I am now completely famished now as we take off for Phoenix…again. Once we land after the holding pattern…in Phoenix we get in the rental vehicle and head to the hotel. We are now about 2hurs behind schedule and check into the hotel. We were supposed to go to the Post Office but decide we need to eat. It’s 5:45 STL time but we decide to first contact the sales guy we work with and are meeting. He has other plans and informs us that the Post office is dire need of us. We do our job leave and finally eat at Applebee’s 8p.m STL time.

Thank you company for 14.5 hours of work.
